It surely lasted forever - accurate title. I don’t know if I am just not intelligent enough to appreciate this book or what. The first half I was at least able to SLIGHTLY follow, despite not feeling any emotion toward the message it was trying to relay. The second half…might as well have been a foreign language. Reading the positive reviews about how poetic this book is and how it left people crying leaves me questioning my reality, but not in the good way. I’d appreciate any enlightenment on this book, but god I am glad that is over.

This is probably the saddest book I have ever read and still think about it. Great writing!

It is an interesting book, makes you think a lot about what it means to miss someone, how much freewill we have and what death really is.

I don’t think I was the intended audience for this story. It was beautiful but I was completely and utterly lost the entire time. I’m thankful it wasn’t longer. It had a poetic vibe to it which enhanced its beauty. I don’t know that I gained anything at all from reading it.
