I think this is well written and is probably beautiful and meaningful. However it took me 8 reading sessions to get through the 90 minutes it took me to read this because I just could not connect with it. I am not someone who loves books that feel like a fever dream, and this unfortunately was that. Every other line is some poetic line about grief and I was never really sure what was happening, nor did I care. 

This is a great book, but not for me.

This is a very odd but incredibly poetic book. The contrast of descriptions from before and current times were vivid. I was hooked from the beginning in an odd way. It was gruesome in a way I've not read before but I liked it. The writing was stunning. I'm really happy I read this and will probably reread to actually be able to absorb myself in it. This book showed grief in this fascinating way of reflecting on memories. It was haunting but stunning. I loved the vibes and it is a vibes book but I felt as though it was real and I understood this sort of dream-like experience. Honestly, brilliant
