Finally something new and interesting! Best book I've read all year. I am drooling over the sequel.

OK, So, I didn't necessarily love this book (Sorry Cuz). To me, the author oversexualized everything unnecessarily. Why do women need big breasts to be good assassins? Possibly we just got off to a bad start bc, while Gen Z women are doing their best to take back the C word, it just didn't work for a man to man-splain why it is really a compliment. I even read about it and I was not swayed by his story that he once heard a woman defending the use of that word and decided to write it in to his book.
I did start to enjoy it much more in the end, and am considering continuing on with the series.

I absolutely loved this book! I was mostly drawn to the funny comments/dialogue and the idea of a training school for assassins. Can’t wait to read the rest of the series.

Had an icky feeling when I realized the main character was a 16 year old girl written by a man notorious for being gratuitous and misogynistic so I’m out.
