Lovecraft definitely created or help create the space monster genre but almost all his stories have the same predictable plot, the main character is almost always the same and the monsters start to take on similar forms.

It’s done yeah…
Idk some stories were enjoyable. Some really weren’t. Some were difficult to understand. Some were incredibly racist and I do not understand why there hasn’t been a sensitivity rewrite yet.
I did enjoy that some of the shorter stories came back or were referenced in the longer stories. It made for a nice intertwined universe. But man if this version of Arkham was real… I wouldn’t recommend living there

Howard Phillips Lovecraft (August 20, 1890 – March 15, 1937) was an American writer of weird and horror fiction, who is known for his creation of what became the Cthulhu Mythos. Virtually unknown and only published in pulp magazines before he died in poverty, he is now regarded as one of the most significant 20th-century authors of supernatural horror fiction.

Didn’t understand the hype, he’s a raging racist and the writing was boring.
