This was a really great quick and easy read. With great characters and a fun and romantic storyline.
The main character is Muriel; the virgin daughter of Satan (Lucifer/ whatever you call him) he loves his daughter but is disappointed by her for not having lost her virginity. She says she wants to wait for love, but when Auric walks into her bar she finds herself feeling things she's never felt before. There's a new power rising to oppose Satan and is sending creatures to hurt Muriel, with Auric's help she survives.
The most noteworthy secondary character is Auric, an angel who falls for Muriel. He helps defend her despite her not needing a huge amount of help.
The storyline is easy to read, focusing on the romance between Muriel and Auric and building on the upcoming overthrowing of Satan. The pacing is good and I look forward to reading more books in the series to find out about Satan being overthrown.
4.5 stars, a great read

Not bad for a first in a series. Nice premise and writing style make future books look promising. I enjoyed the snarkiness of Muriel and her ability to be true to herself. She's independent and wickedly good, which contrasts well with her sin-pushing father. Some of the best and laugh-out-loud scenes in the book are between Muriel and Lucifer.
Muriel's love interest, Auric, is the standard alpha-ish male. Over-protective, mysterious, and secretive. Not bad, but not enough description for me to get worked up about. I really didn't connect with either character, mainly because they didn't seem well-developed/characterized.
What I didn't like was the "insta-love" that occurred within a brief few days. Neither of the characters did anything to create that bond, it just...was.
Will I read the next in the series? Probably.

Tried to muddle through this story yet again. I just can't like the main character or care about what happens too her.

I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
Muriel is the proud owner of her bar Nexus. Oh and she's a Princess of Hell, Lucifers daughter. But a little too goody two shoes for daddy. She got straight A's in school much to Lucifers disdain and much to his consternation is still a virgin. Holding out for love she considers if it's worth it when she literally runs into Auric. The hottest guy she's ever seen. But things go wonky and someone is conspiring to overthrow Lucifer and kidnap her.
The starting book in the hell series opens up the world to readers. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Having read the welcome to hell series to date it was nice to take a step backwards and see lucifer and hell from his daughters eyes. Muriel is a kick ass female who can take care of herself and Auric is the alpha male with an unexpected past. In true Eve style there are some wonderful giggling points as well as steamy romance scenes.
A definite must read especially if your new to the world of hell created by Eve start with the Princess series before moving onto the welcome to hell series.

This was a really cute story. Love the fallen angel/devil's daughter pairing! I love that Muriel is so confident and able to take care of herself. I also enjoyed how much she enjoyed Auric wanting to protect her, even though she didn't really need it. And I really liked that Auric could have cared less about Muriel's sister, the succubus. Auric was such a great male character. I can't wait to read more about them and the dastardly threat in the next one!

Cute story. I liked how Lucifer was portrayed as the doting father.

A quick, funny read. Contains explicit content. Entertained me, but I'm not inclined to read book 2. The characters were all super great, though.
