Beautifully written. Difficult to read. Heartbreaking, but I'm glad I read it. Especially listening to the audiobook, I was almost sad it ended, just because I wanted to "talk" to Jeannette more.

Jennette is so open in this. She’s detailed but to the point, and candid when baring truths many people wouldn’t ever face in their lifetime. It’s difficult to read at points when hearing what she went through as a child and young adult, but it’s worth reading every line.

This was excellent. I started with the ebook and then saw some comments online recommending the audiobook so I switched over - so happy I did! I’ve never read a memoir before but this… wow. What a brave thing to write and publish. Super heartbreaking, especially hearing it through Jennette’s voice. Would recommend to others in a heartbeat, but would also advise reading trigger warnings ahead of time because this content is very heavy.

Wow. This was incredible. The writing style, the emotion, the honesty - everything. I finished this in one week and would highly recommend the audio book to hear Jennette tell the story herself. It covers some tough themes, so definitely read the trigger warnings before reading! All-in-all, an excellent read/listen!!

I might've cried a couple times while reading this. A truly heartbreaking story.

One time I saw Jennette at Six Flags and she was avoiding people coming up to her and i overheard people talking about how "rude" she was. well i hope they read this book so they can have a better understanding of her and how we should be treating celebrities in public. she's just human and my heart hurts for her. i'm glad she's doing better for herself 🤍

I would have preferred to hear more about her heading journey. The ending felt rushed to wrap things up.
