Gotta ring my mam and tell her I love her.

Couldn’t put it down and surprisingly, not depressing, considering the subject!

A friend told me about this book. I hadn't heard of the author nor seen any of the TV shows that she appeared in. That didn't make any difference to my enjoyment of this book.

It's a desperately sad memoir of a young lady deprived of her childhood by an emotionally and physically abusive mother.

The story is set in two parts before and after, you can probably guess from the title what this refers too. I was desperately rooting for Jennettes success and recovery throughout this book.

Trigger warnings are rife in this book which covers eating disorders, alcohol abuse, mental health disorders, cancer, emotional abuse, poverty and more.
