This was kind of insane, I didn’t realise the intensity of what Jannette went through, but the way it’s written is so easy to follow. Kind of makes you wonder what else happened in the darkness of childhood tv shows like iCarly

Kann das Buch als Hörbuch sehr empfehlen! Fand es etwas schwer in das physische Buch reinzukommen und hab deshalb das Hörbuch angefangen und dann auch super schnell durchgehört. Fand manche Szenen teilweise sehr repetitiv, kann es aufgrund dessen, dass es ein Memoir ist aber verzeihen. Deshalb bin ich nicht overly hyped über das Buch, finde Ihre Erzählweise und Reflektionen super wertvoll.

Whew - that was a lot. I wanted to like the book more but it really triggered my past eating disorder and I felt like I was holding my breath the whole time waiting to get to the healing part of the book.
