I don't feel comfortable rating this because it's a memior, but I loved McCurdy's writing style. I would totally read another one of her books if she wanted to write something else. It's also really cool that she came out here and rightfully exposed people in the entertainment industry (including parents) who take advantage of kids. My brother and I watched iCarly and Sam and Cat when we were kids, so learning about what that was like for one of the actors was really eye-opening. Btw I recommend listening to the audiobook cause it's narrated by Jennette McCurdy :)

since this is someone's life story i don't know if it seems right to give it a star rating? any way i did really "enjoy" reading this book. the writing was very engaging, but to say it was devastating to read the truth of jennettes life growing up would be an understatement. i think this book does a really good job on talking about all kinds of "human flaws" and showing the truth to the people behind them. i think the light humor throughout definitely helped with the book to not feel so heavy. i hope jennette is doing alright these days.
