I have really come to love the stories that Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde collaborate together on. They have a way of creating very strong writing, with plenty of detail, background and personality. Piece that together with the hot story and you have more than a winner, you have an addiction. That's exactly what this was. Once I picked it up, I couldn't not put it down, until I had finished the whole thing. It was so worth it.

The characters, as per all their reads, have been given a lot of time. They have put exceptional effort into ensuring each character has a background, to really create a foundation for who they are. This builds to give them a personality, which shines through in the way they act and handle their lives. I found all of this made it very easy to both connect and fall in love with the characters. I felt tied to their story and finding out what happens.

The pace was great. It kept the story flowing along, with a selection of suprises and passionate moments to add that bit extra. The story kept my attention easily and really made it easy to want to read just one more chapter.

Overall this was a brilliant read. I highly recommend it if you are looking for something fun and exciting to spice up your evening!

**I received this book for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.

This story centers around the last of the Kincaid brothers. Clay and Mason are now deeply in love and taken, leaving Levi the only available Kincaid. Levi plans on staying that way.
What Levi doesn’t know is that it only takes one good woman to show a man what he has been missing. For Levi that woman is Sarah, a swing shift cashier at a convenient mart. Levi does nothing half way. No matter how often she says “no” he comes back to try again. Luckily for her he doesn’t give up. He is there when she needs him.
Sarah finally weakens and says “yes”. It doesn’t take long for things to get steamy. The chemistry between Levi and Sarah is hot. Levi likes being in charge. Sarah knows just what to say and do even though she has never done anything like this before.
I really enjoyed Levi’s inner turmoil. He never thought his brain and heart would feel and think about anything other than a good time. Levi finds himself doing things he never thought himself capable of doing or wanting.
Sarah isn’t much different. She isn’t looking for anything that lasts. Like Levi, she carries many secrets and emotional baggage. She is on the run from her ex. She is just trying to survive. With levi by her side she can, but the question is will she let him.

Dirty Sexy Cuffed is the third book in Dirty Sexy series by Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde. Each book in this series can be read as a standalone, but the books are connected. I haven't read the first book in the series, but I really enjoyed the second book and was excited to read more about these sexy Kincaids! This was another great book from these two, and I already can't wait for more from them!

Levi Kincaid is known for being the quiet younger Kincaid brother and as a cop he prefers control in all aspects of his life. Then he meets Sarah Robins and she changes everything. Though Levi wants Sarah, her past has her not looking for anything more. But after Levi witnesses a hold up at her store, he ends up getting hurt while protecting her. After seeing how far Levi would go for her, Sarah agrees to go on a date with him. When Sarah starts to let her guard down and let Levi in, he becomes more determined than ever to show Sarah that there are good guys out there and that he is worth taking a chance on. But can he get her to see that she can trust him after all that she has been through?

I absolutely loved Levi! He is protective and alpha, but so caring and sweet. He was great with Sarah, and I really loved how he was understanding and so determined to show her what real men are like. Sarah was on the run and doing her best to move forward with her life. She was easy to like and I loved her for Levi. They had a great connection and the chemistry between them was off the charts. I loved that she was on board with Levi's desires and I thought that they were super sexy together! Levi knew when to push and when to back off, and I just couldn't get enough of them and the connection they were building.

Overall, this was a great story. It had everything that you could want in a great romance story, with plenty of sweetness, heat, and action to keep you turning the pages. If you are a fan of the series already, there were some really great moments with familiar faces. If you are new to the series though, you can easily enjoy this one without feeling lost. I really enjoyed this one from start to finish, and I highly recommend it! I look forward to reading more from these two and I can't wait to read the next in the series as well as go back and read the first one.

Is it anthropology or am I so fucking confused by my own gender that I just keep reading in some sort of pseudo-scientific manner as if the essence of these books is going to answer the question of: what the fuck is this and why is it so popular. It started out like that, now its like watching a train wreck. You know you should look away but its so hard to.

I thought E.L James was bad enough but its the same formula every single time. Its damsel in distress being saved by Guy who has some serious issues but is secretly a marshmallow on the inside and only Woman can save him. All the characters are exactly the same. 90% are "sassy" but what they reallly mean is pliant and incapable of looking after themselves.

The other 10% are quiet and vulnerable and small and diminutive and its so awful? Its so repetitive? And yet -I think I believe that this is the literary version of eating cornflakes. Its not really filling, its not really good for you but the nutritional value is so besides the point you eat it anyway.

Either that or women in their 40s are so deprived of intimacy they think these books are an idealistic relationship and if that's the case, then that's terrifying.

Dirty Sexy Cuffed was a fantastic story. Carly Phillips & Erika Wilde are talent writers on their own, but what happens when their two minds are combined is worlds above what many authors can hope to achieve. Levi Kincaid is a sexy alpha male, but he's also got so much compassion and caring. He's a hero you can't help but fall for. Sarah Robins is a woman on the run from a crazy ex. Levi is just what she needs in order to stop running and gives her the help to take care of the ex. The chemistry between the two is instantaneous and smoking hot. This book is a standalone with a HEA, but the final chapter can only be described by saying HOLY PLOT TWIST!!!

The next book Dirty Sexy Sinner is set up in the final chapter and it wasn't something that I think anyone could see coming. It made me eager for the next book, but I was still completely happy with how the story ended. As with the other books in this series, I highly recommend it and give it 5 stars. Love it and I want more from these two talented women.

It was a quick read, faster than I expected (I finished it in less than a day, heck, a few hours in bed, LOL).

lots of twists and turns, in places you'd expect, and places you wouldn't.

It wasn't my favorite of the series. I think it was because I plowed through it so fast, and details are escaping me. I'll be rereading at some point, I promise.

I love, though, that it's not always about the best beginnings, though they worry about the endings.

Levi Kincaid's story. He's the straightened, buttoned down, by the book police officer. But his demons are buried just as deep as his brothers.
Sarah is running and doing the best she can to turn her life around. Little does she know that Levi's pursuit of her will change her life forever.
