Solid 4 stars! I read this a long time ago, but never went past the first book. I wanted to re-read and give the series another chance, I’m glad I did! Looking forward to the next book!

This is the first time I’ve read this book since I first read it years ago, before the movies were out. I’d forgotten so many details.

I’m aching so much for Peeta!!!

I’m actually bitter that they left out some of the key details from the book in the movie. I just feel like Katniss is a bitch in the movies, doesn’t necessarily care, whereas in the books she is a lot more gentle and caring. She’s like all of us, with insecurities and anxiety.

Peeta should have been depicted differently in the movies too, he’s a lot more snarky and funny in the books which the movie LACKED! I loved peeta even more in the book!!

Anyways, the book was so good and I wonder why I didn’t read it earlier

Um, yeah, I loved this book! I usually can't stand listening to audiobooks unless I'm driving, but with this one I spent my afternoons listening to it in my living room. The story is well-developed and interesting. The protagonist, a 16 year old girl, is never annoying or false. The ending is a bit unresolved, but thankfully the next book has already been released (with the 3rd book due later this year).

My first time re-reading as an adult and still just as good as I remembered.
