this book is a totally unabashedly trashy book that is so over the top it barely even hides its satire - a nouveau gossip girl for 2015 (the books, not the show). objectively it is Not A Good Book and i probably won’t ever read it again, but it was fun and brainless and i actually didn’t get the twist until pretty late in the game (this is at once a commendation for the book and also, not, because i generally am bad at guessing twists). recommended beach reading. good book to continually get distracted during.
i also didn't realize until a few days after finishing that "rich kids of instagram" is actually a real blog populated with the posts of real rich kids on instagram, which makes the whole thing a little better and even more enjoyable in retrospect.
