I really liked this book. I was even more thrilled that it held my attention through over 2 months of not having my kindle to finish reading it.

The story was great and Moore's characters were entertaining as always. If you are up for a good laugh you should read this.

Listened to this as an audiobook and as always, the narrator is wonderful and really brings the characters to life.

Swift read, positively delightful. Couldn't help but laugh every few pages.

Was sad about the ending...call me a romantic

Five stars because I couldn't put it down, and because it has vampire cats. Absolute awesomeness.

maybe this would have been better if i read the earlier ones in the series, but somehow i think not.

I really enjoyed Christopher Moore's first two books in this series ([b:Bloodsucking Fiends|33454|Bloodsucking Fiends (A Love Story, #1)|Christopher Moore|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1298420636s/33454.jpg|1799438] & [b:You Suck|33453|You Suck (A Love Story, #2)|Christopher Moore|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1331323414s/33453.jpg|2015399]), but with 'Bite Me', I couldn't even get through the first ten pages. Abby's constant use of the word, 'Kayso', grated on my nerves... and that's pretty hard to do when I didn't even read an entire chapter. Maybe I'm just not in the mood for a dark comedy or I'm tired of the whole vampire scene. Either way, it's unfortunate.

This was a pretty entertaining read, but I'm pretty sure I would have enjoyed it more if I had read [b:You Suck|33453|You Suck A Love Story (Love Story, #2)|Christopher Moore|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1168444145s/33453.jpg|2015399] and [b:Bloodsucking Fiends|33454|Bloodsucking Fiends A Love Story (Vampire Trilogy #1)|Christopher Moore|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1168444146s/33454.jpg|1799438] first.

Christopher Moore write books, I read them -- that's just the way it is. I genuinely like everything he's written, it's just that I like some books more than others. Bite Me is good, but it won't unseat my favorites in Moore's bibliography. Glad I read this, and it seems like Moore has brought the Jody & Tommy arc to a satisfying conclusion. If there's anything that genuinely excited me about reading this novel, it was the reappearance of Lilly, along with the mention of Charlie Asher. While I hope Moore is done with the vampire angle, I'd happily read a sequel to A Dirty Job.
