I love Christopher Moore. I know I've said that before, but I mean it. I truly love this man. This is the third book in the series, but this time it's mostly told by Abby Normal, formerly 'minion', but now backup queen of the darkness. :) Her voice is fresh and funny and whether she likes it or not... perky.

Moore is a genius. He took the tired vampire genre, tipped it upside and down and shook it until it was brain damaged.

I'm happy with how Moore ended this series, and I loved how completely outrageous he let the vampire thing get. That is why I have read nearly all of his books; he always surprises me and makes me laugh (and gasp and sometimes want to puke a little bit).

Slightly better than You Suck, but Abby is more annoying.

It's a rare thing when the conclusion of a trilogy of books happens to be the highlight, but I feel that Bite Me accomplishes just that. Just as absurd and hilarious as its predecessors, this concludes a fantastic series. Plus, I was delighted to see the return of a great character from Moore' book Fluke! This book series is worth checking out!

The first book in this series is by far the best.

Read this book on a dare by a friend (I don't usually go out for vampire books) and HATED IT. Dumb teenage novel that makes no plot sense as the perspectives keep swapping and the heroine is just annoying.

Everyone else here said the story is great once you get through the valley girl. I just couldn’t. Maybe I’ll try again eventually, but I completely tuned out on this one and couldn’t pick it up again.

I feel like this series got more serious as it went on…Abby’s writing style and antics not withstanding.
I’d give most of the book more like 4 stars, because it did keep me more engrossed than the last one. But I didn’t understand what Jody was doing at the end there, which leaves me with an unfinished taste in my mouth.

We enjoyed the first two books in the series well enough. Unfortunately this one is mainly narrated by it's most annoying character.
