Could only do 75% of the audio book. I mostly enjoyed the first half, getting a high level history of each of the 4 companies. After that it really devolved into painful metaphors and a general lack of data/evidence to back up the author's opinions.

Some interesting insights, but nothing groundbreaking. A lot of vindictiveness. By the end, I just hoped I never turn out like the author.

In this book that was published in 2017, the author makes some honest and sometimes blunt remarks about the four companies that I think still holds some truth today. It was also interesting, having been several years removed since the book was published, to see what the author's predictions of the company that would become next horseman in the great horseman to be.

I thought it was interesting. I liked learning about th Fours business models and Galloway makes them easier to understand. There were also some funny lines that turned this book into a more casual but still informative read. The main point of the Fours success is that the founders took risks, appeal to some part of our monkey brain and were lucky.

This is a helpful history of all these companies. I wish there was an updated, post-COVID edition as many of the facts are already out-of-date
