This book just wasn't what I expected. I was hoping for a story on how the listed companies started up, maybe with comparisons on similarities and differences. What I got was a bro-dude trying to sound hip and cool, but just coming across as bitter. DNF at 8%

Is very outdated. The author’s bitterness that his start ups did not succeed is obvious. He also validated toxic masculinity and rape culture.

Very informative. Makes me want to delete all my accounts.
The last hour of the book was full of advice that I wasn't interested in. That's not what I was expecting or seeking from this book.
Also, TW: the author de*dn*mes Caitlyn Jenner, so wtf?

7/10

I liked some parts, but I hated the complaining, and this book had A LOT of complaining.
I got lost a few times as well because at one point the author would simplify things and put it in layman's terms and then he'd do a 180 degree turn and use business acronyms and then he'd do a 270 degree turn and talk like a teenager. Reading this book was like reading a very factual diary. The author's diary with all his moodswings, dilemmas, headings that didn't make sense, and his general lack for painting context especially near the end of his book *cough* I meant his diary.
I guess I liked the little graphs. I gave it 2 because I genuinely wanted to see how he would end this book and I guess that counts for something.

I didn't DNF this, but I was close.
