Definitely my favourite of the series so far.
Sheldon was a good addition to Miracle Books!

I think I may be ready to give this series up. I feel like it falls into the “great idea, poor execution” category of books.
Pros:
I actually like her plot lines.
I love the new Sheldon character.
That’s mostly where it ends.
Cons:
I really don’t care for her writing style. It just feels forced and uncomfortable.
I don’t like the main character at all, but some of the other characters aren’t bad.
The book titles are totally meaningless and have nothing to do with the book plot. There wasn’t a candle in the book. You know what there WAS in this book? BIRDS… lots and lots of BIRDS.
There are WAY too many random book titles dropped all over the place.
Nora’s relationship with Jed is easily one of the most boring ones I have ever read. He’s an afterthought and Nora clearly can’t be bothered with him most of the time.
And one last silly thing… as a sock knitter, I am having a terrible time buying how fast June seems to knit socks.
I may have seen the last of the Secret, Book and Scone Society… (even the “club” name seems forced to me!)

Finding myself wanting to read all the books Nora picks for her customers or mentions for her displays.
I love picturing the scenes while I’m reading, especially the Inn of Mist and Roses.
