I genuinely loved this book so much, but the only reason I'm putting it as 4 stars instead of 5 (I might change it later when "It" is not as "fresh") is because I HATE CLIFFHANGERS!!! AAAAAAAAAAA
Not sure if I was into it because I am a big Crime Junkie fan or if it was really good. It's fast-paced and twisty, and you are left not so sure of how it's all going to end.

I read this so quickly! This was a very satisfying, easy to read (clear language, description - quick to read while still getting the full picture), and still surprising. I love the switches between the timeframes and perspectives that both explain but simultaneously add to the mystery. I felt the main character plot twist of Luke/Dave was a tad oversimplified- I think the last name was a good subtle hint to the identity. But in the emphasis of 'small town talk', how would Margot be the only one to not understand that connection to Krissy, especially if she had been so involved in interviews and investigations? That's really my only issue with that being the huge twist. The end seemed a bit whip-lashy with the different theories/truth switching about, but that might be because it was a very quick read that everything seemed to change too fast.
Overall - super enjoyed this book! Great debut novel, it kept me wanting to read more! The narrative style and voices were easy to fall into as the reader - some descriptions maybe over-used, but all in all, great book, quick easy read, great mystery!
Fingers crossed there is more to come for this storyline (I do need some closure for the ending) and more from Ashley!

Want a book that's just like JonBenet case? Then read this.
This book was so long for no reason. The author tried to make every twist possible, which I should have known because I know how she does her podcast.
The only character I liked was Billy.
Go figure right?
I'll pass on Ashley Flowers books in the future.

Open ended ending for the sake of an open ended ending. I hate that shit.
