It’s an ok book. Definitely a first book. You can tell Ashley put all her true crime passion into it. Starts a bit slow but it picks up a nice pace throughout. Very easy to read and enjoy. Some interesting plot twists that I wish she had developed further instead of introducing new characters that didn’t add much. The ending was a bit rushed. I wish she would’ve explored the Dave-Billy relationship further, and really dig into that dynamic more, instead of adding a new character just to throw us off.

3.5 stars. This book was pretty good, a bit cliche but overall it kept me guessing and had some interesting twists. The author had a tendency to reuse the same lines like “Margo was stumped…but THEN she remembered something” over and over, could have used another edit through perhaps. I don’t know if I liked the ending or not which makes me star rating indecisive.

3.5 rounded up. This book was really well-written and had me hooked from the beginning. I didn’t even care that I guessed a lot of what was coming because I still found it compelling. But I’m really disappointed by the abrupt ending.

Bastante entretenido con un trama de thriller bien hilada y con unos personajes bien escritos y con los que empatizas. Incluso me ha convencido bastante el final. Leído en inglés.
