This was truly hilarious to me, like I found myself just laughing at loud so many times. And I was absolutely pleasantly surprised at Talia’s humor.

I’m so glad that this was my first talia book, because if things only get better from here, I can’t wait to continue.

My only complaint could be that it was a little slow to me in the beginning, I felt like some places were dragging and could’ve been explored so much earlier than things were. Obviously when the plot picked up, I couldn’t put the book down and had to finish it in one sitting. So I completely got
Sucked into it, but couldn’t help but feel that it felt rushed?

The female protagonists was so reluctant and so negative towards herself that when she finally started opening up it kind of felt like it was overnight, while there were signs of her coming to terms with things and starting to verbally express herself, I think it could’ve been more flushed out.
I think that the pacing was my problem, but overall it was still so enjoyable to read.

I loved the autism representation and the very sweet relationship between neighbors. It was also good to see a woman main character who had had a number of previous sexual partners and neither she nor her love interest had a problem with that. Add in the relationships between the heroine and her family and you have an all around good time.

I will never not be a fan of Talia Hibbert. This wasn’t my favorite by her, but it was just what I needed. It was a quick, sweet read with diversity at the center. I can always get behind that.

This was super duper sweet. Evan was ridiculously perfect and the very opposite of an alpha-douche, which is normally my thing but with Evan I'd be happy to never encounter one again. He really was lovely. I particularly liked that he wanted to hear things about people from them and not through gossip.

Ruth was wonderful to read. Absolutely prickly but vulnerable and no nonsense. I would have liked a bit more information about her comic and the storyline around that, I'd especially like to know what she gave her two characters who had angry sex on the Derbyshire peat smelling desk!

So very sweet with very little conflict and I'm dying to read about Hannah so onward!
