This was a fun short book that plays on the satanic panic pretty well. It didn't necessarily wow me, but I had fun, so there's that.

this wasn’t at all what i expected but i had a lot of fun reading it! it’s a perfect 80s horror comedy reminiscent of cult classics like heathers, the breakfast club and jennifer’s body with a dash of satanic panic mixed in.

Honestly pretty fun! Sort of 80s horror mixed with a typical teen movie mixed with Jennifer's Body. Drama and blood, always a good mix. A bit too fixated on sex for me, but I guess I feel that way about a lot of horror films anyway.

I've read pretty much every Filthy Loot book I can get in the UK, and this one is one of the better ones.

The ending was so anti-climactic and I’m not even sure it actually happened.
John and Sam both deserved better than that.

That being said, I’d enjoyed the rest of the book. Amazing how an entire novella can be destroyed by two pages (literally less than 2% of the entire thing)

An amazing short novella. I didn't want it to end. So dark, weird and awkward (characters).

This was a funny quick read. I really liked the whole concept of what a "participation trophy" is in this story. Very nostalgic of the 80's and another quirky horror book involving the "santanic panic" era.
