the midnight library has an intriguing premise, deals w/ interesting themes and ideas; def makes me reflect, and can be inspiring and life-affirming at points. also appreciate how it doesnt end w/ a new romantic prospect that solves all of the main character's problems.
however, i feel like suddenly thrusting nora into various situations w/o any understanding of each life's inner workings isnt the best way to go abt it. the writing's also clunky and the dialogue could even be rly awkward at points, and that becomes annoying after a while. i get why many ppl love this book, but in my opinion it couldve been better executed.
