vale. solo hace un año que lei este libro por 1 vez, pero por alguna razón, se me olvida todo lo que leo. y ahora que está saliendo la 2 temporada de la serie pues me apetecía leerlo.

- steven y taylor me caen fatal en los libros
- belly está mal de la cabeza. cómo se le ocurre montar el numerito a conrad en el funeral de su madre

better than the first one. felt more introspective on belly's account but i suppose that makes sense cause she's growing up.

2023: when i first read this book i was just annoyed at the stupid decisions the characters were making as they hurt each other over and over and didn’t communicate well. i didn’t enjoy the story because of that and rated it a 3 stars. this time i’m listening to the audiobook and seeing it with fresh eyes. they are young, 16-19, and going through a incredibly hard thing in losing someone close to them. i understand so much more of why Conrad is the way that he is because i’m realizing i’m like Conrad in a lot of ways. not wanting to be super vulnerable and missing out on good relationships because of not being brave enough to say what i really feel because i don’t feel that i’m good enough or i’m scared of them not feeling the same way. i’ve never really experienced it but i see myself in him and i understand and empathize so much more this time around. i love these characters and feel for them so much. i might change this to a 5 star after reading the last book again because i think this is becoming a favorite series😌

Tbh this one kind of made me like Jere better than Conrad…. I know… Belly is such a fool. Susannah how I miss you. I like this book better than the last for sure though.
