| 100\10 | belly tries so hard to move on from conrard but its impossible. susana dies. nothing is the same. its all soo sad. C is hurting but doesn’t show. he goes to save the summer house. J and B go with him. C isnt stable at all. but he loves B. he doesn’t show it. J is jealous of C and really loves B and shows it. B finally moves on from C in the end and decides J is the one for her. this story is barely relatable to me but i almost cried in it and i dont cry in most books. conrard is a mysterious character. i really dont understand him just like B. but J is everything a girl wants. B loves C more but whatever.

This book felt like a nostalgic, summery dream. It hit that perfect mix of warmth and heartache, with all the messy feelings that come with growing up and losing people you love. Total bittersweet beach read.

This one I liked…BUT I think I liked season 2 of the show better. I’m interested to dive into book 3 and then watch season 3 to see how I feel. Don’t get me wrong, still thought the story was cute, but definitely thought the show was better.
