I thought it was a good way to close out the series... I do wish I knew more about Lina and Doons older years but that's just me being nosey. This book was worth the torture of book three [b:The Prophet of Yonwood|207034|The Prophet of Yonwood (Book of Ember, #3)|Jeanne DuPrau|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1320636285l/207034._SY75_.jpg|969]. I enjoyed this read, I checked out the book and the audiobook so I could sit and read, and drive with this book.

This was a pretty good end to the series. I wasn’t the biggest fan throughout the whole thing, but I enjoyed this book.

The first book is definitely the best one, but I think the author made the right decision to continue the story and end it here.

What an incredible way to end the series. I loved the new twists and turns and was especially tickled at the last couple of pages. (I desperately want to talk about it with someone!) Ease back in your seat and enjoy the ride!
