dnf @ like 70% or something. as soon as i saw the miscommunication trope coming i couldn’t get myself to finish but i did like that first half, especially his chapters.

I went into this book expecting a silly romance that was an easy listen, and didn’t have too many expectations, but quickly got caught up in it all and ended up loving it and the characters.

one, this book was hilarious. i was literally lol-ing. two, if you picture josh with a 70s porn star mustache it makes all the better. three, THE SEX POSITIVITY, tailored towards women, what more could you ask for. there’s not enough of it.

I wanted to liked this, but in end it was just ok for me. I enjoyed some parts Naomi especially but I couldn't connect with Clara and Josh, they didn't have chemistry, at times most of it they were cute.

Great spice, especially the one around p. 170 IYKYK . But I didn't really like the plot until 60% through the book and was honestly considering dnf-ing it for a while. Didn't really connect to the characters either. The family dynamics could've been fleshed out more on both sides and it lacked some depth for me. The ending the interview also could've been executed a lot better in my opinion. However, still a nice book. I liked the representation of his field of work and found it really interesting as well as well fleshed out. Really enjoyed that part of the plot, would love to see some more representation in future books.
All in all, fine enough book, just not for me mostly.
