I really like it, Sigurd is a great character and the plot twist is amazing.

This book develops the themes explores in previous books about the relationship between humanity and divinity and power. Bits of this read like old Greek myths and the ending is so so good.

I keep wanting books that expand the possibilities of encounters to more than just dichotomous battles and this book delivers like a champ.

RJB well deserves my ranking last year as my favourite new (to me) author.
