Loved having a book from Sigrud's point to of view after he is "re-activated" following a death.
It wraps up the trilogy well but leaves the door open for more stories set in the world.

Oh, I savored this book. The end of a good trilogy can be bittersweet. This one might have been so for me, but I read it slowly. Deliberately. I loved City of Stairs and City of Blades. I knew this last book held handfuls of keys for me. I didn't want to miss any.
God I'm going to miss Sigrud and Shara.
It's a fantastic trilogy, and I say that as someone ordinarily repelled by stories including gods. I envy you who have it to look forward to.

a lovely allegory of people being people, wrapped in the trappings of the divine and the fantastical. sorrowful, heart-warming, and exciting. the ending will make you feel some kind of way.
loved this series, & this was top notch. great writing, evil villains, action, emotion. love the divinities and the miracles.
That was such a good conclusion to the series and so fulfilling. So sad. Wow.
Five stars is not enough. Astounding end to an amazing series.
What an amazing conclusion.
And another tough northerner becomes one of my all time favourites. This series just became one of my all time favourite series. Such depth and delight in these stories. Looking forward coming back to these...
