Even though dark romance isn't my usual type, I appreciate the characters following their goal effectively and the plot line being actually good for dark romance. The book was not unnecessary, but it was a quick read.

I like both Dolly and Rabbit, and I could understand why they were the way they were. Even though I got multiple nightmares and no sleep after I read it, I really liked it

If you like dark romance, don’t read this.

Uncomfortable read. She’s portrayed as a child the entire time, and it didn’t mix with heavy 🌶️. Their relationship is purely possessive and there is no character building. I felt especially annoyed when he would refer to any other woman as a b*tch, sl*t or a wh*re.

This book... was cheesy to the extreme. Part Alice in Wonderland and part Harley Quinn and Joker fanfiction it just was not an enjoyable read for me. I wouldn't call this a dark romance, even though it does deal with some pretty heavy themes. It was just so childish about how it handled them. Definitely the most disappointing read for me this year, and possibly ever. I had hoped for something closer to Penelope Douglas' Kill Switch with more murder and mayhem but this came nowhere close to that.

PLEASE do not read this unless you are familiar/well-versed in dark romance books. It is DARK. It is TWISTED. It’s darker than my usual tastes and is absolutely not for everyone. I strongly thing there needs to be a content warning at the beginning. I was buddy-reading this thinking it was a typical dark romance but no. It goes deeper than what I’m usually comfortable with but I had to finish otherwise the “what happened?” question would plague my mind for weeks.

*i don’t feel like I can give this a proper “star” rating because I don’t want to encourage people to read this blindly based on star reviews.

Fantastic book. Very dark beginning and was a little hard to read, only because it was so well written it was like I was seeing it all. So check your trigger warnings in case this book is not for you.
I’ve never read anything like this book. It was an amazing read. I could not put it down so I read it in one day. The characters are amazing, their love, their connection and their darkness.
Its written from both point of views, which I loved because you get to know what is going on in the other characters mind.
If you like reading dark romance, with some twisted subjects and with lots violence to those who deserve it, then put this one on your to read list!
Tick Tock!
