A poetic and beautiful book with many wise words and a lot of heart. Always comforting to read but this one definitely took what felt like a grimmer tone. Perhaps not as gripping as its predecessor because the whole courting pursuit is no more. However I still flew through this book for a reason: it's a very very solid addition to the myriad of queer YA fiction.

This book is simply gorgeous. It made me cry and smile so much.

I love the emphasis on friendships and all the types of love someone can have. And Ari and Dante’s love is beautiful.

such a beautiful book. i’m still in awe after reading this. i’ve learnt so much about love, friendship and grief through this book and i will carry that knowledge with me for the res of my life. i really do encourage everyone to read this book and the first book at least once in their life. it is truly life changing.
