You know a murder mystery is going to be wild when someone dies in the first chapter. LAST ONE TO DIE was, indeed, wild The entire time, I was intrigued. This is a page turner that'll keeping you guessing and wanting to read more. Each new chapter brought a new conflict, and I couldn't help saying "What." In LAST ONE TO DIE, there's so much happening. With attacks at every corner, and resemblances to people in the past, this book is the perfect thriller. Like, seriously, there was so much drama and thrills and suspense. I liked that there was a turn at every corner, supernatural links, and history galore. Not mention, the plot twist I almost didn't see coming. If you want a twisty, suspenseful book full of thrills and witts and the supernatural, you should add this to your 2024 tbr.
What I Liked About It:
*the drama
*the twists
*the suspense
*the supernatural aspect

I don’t enjoy this style of writing. I kept skimming parts.

The book was an easy read that didn't take me long to get though. I did enjoy the build up but I feel the end wasn't to my taste. I worked out who the baddy was quite quickly as well which is not something I can normally do.

It's all been done before and better by Maureen Johnson, but Flora Montgomery makes the audiobook sparkle with her gorgeous narration.
