This book was even better than I could've remembered. The drama, the intrigue! It was entertaining the whole way through, and I loved getting to see the different groups venture off onto their mini-quests. It was nice to see Percy and Annabeth grappling with new insecurities and persevering through them. The book was a bit long, but honestly it was worth it the whole way through. What a whirlwind!

I know how this ends and I still almost sobbed. Rick, I will never forgive you for this cliffhanger. At the same time I loved it lol. It’s probably the best cliffhanger I’ve read. Also, the narrator definitely grew on me during this book. It’s the same person as Son of Neptune but I liked him more in this book.

His writing just keeps getting better. I can't wait for October for my preorder of "House of Hades".
