I was intrigued by the plot and quickly got fully invested into the book.
There was no explanation given for why the attic was producing husbands for her, but it became apparent early on that this wasn't going to continue to be the focal point for the main character. The book ends with that mystery never fully being solved which I didn't mind, but may frustrate others.
The main character Lauren rapidly goes through husbands, judging them by nose hairs, weird elbows, and being too loved by her friends (not in order of appearance in the book) and yet not one seems "right" or "the one". Unless you count Carter who accidentally got removed from her life which then starts a series of comparisons and husband returns.
There doesn't seem to be much character development until Lauren starts obsessing over finding ex husbands in new realities, resorting to burglary, threats, and bodily harm to get what she desires (a new husband). All of which Lauren justifies with, everyone having a better life in the new reality that is created with the new husband.
With all of that being said, I did still really enjoy the read and the ending was sufficient enough for me to give the book 3.75 stars - so 4 stars.

Such an interesting concept, genuinely did not know how it would turn out. Got a little dark towards the conclusion which didn't totally fit with the rest of the vibe of the book but I have recommended it to many people.
