Although this wasn’t my style of poetry, it was still nice as a lover of baseball, with references to life, the blues, and jazz thrown in for good measure. You can tell it was a labor of love for the author, which is very cool.

If God Invented Baseball is a wonderful collection of poetry musing on the nature of the game of baseball and how baseball connects to the human experience. Tender, lyrical, funny, and profound, with a little bit of a Jazz bounce, this collection is a must-read.
