So far, this is much gentler than what I'm used to from a Naoki Urasawa read, but there are hints of tension to come. (There's also the nostalgia I'm used to.) Right now, I'm looking for the main story, but just getting background. Given how well Urasawa writes and draws, that's not a serious problem.

This is a manga that makes you thin you know what's going on, then it adds something and your like WTF?! Love it!

I’m liking Kinuyo better this time and Kasuga a bit less. I’m rooting more for the found family relationship between Kinuyo and Asa over the relationship between Kasuga and Asa I was rooting for in the last book. Kinuyo’s a tough mama bear who will defend Asa no matter what. Kasuga on the other hand is a bit less likable in this book.
This book does look like it’s leading somewhere interesting. A teenage girl pilot and a mysterious monster. Sign me up.

This is the second book in the series. If you have read the first, then it will sort of make sense. If you haven't read the first it will make even less sense.
This is a slow moving story. The only things we k now are that Asadora's family home is destroyed by what people think is a tsunami, but she is able to see the monster that did it, from her vantage point in the airplane that she flies to save people whose houses were destroyed.
But, no one believes her, until someone goes looking for the monster, 10 years later.
And that was where we were at with the first book, and now, she is flying an airplane, and someone else has seen the monster.
So, we must wait for the next book to find out where this is all going.
Thanks to Edelweiss for making this book available for an honest review.
