Ahhhhhhhh I cannot express how much I absolutely ADORE Laura Wood's novels. This one comes second to Under A Dancing Star (which I honestly don't think can be beaten).
Everything about this book was amazing.

I actually finished this book in one sitting which was very unexpected cuz I truly thought I was just going to skim and power through but i was pleasantly surprised, like it was in no way a masterpiece and like incredibly similar to great gatsby but it was just a fast paced easy read no plot just vibes kinda thing everything about it was mediocre but in the best way it was just refreshing and a great pallet cleanser
