Incredible. A gift to literature.

3.5

If I didn't know this was satire I would not have rated it as high, but it was pretty funny. Pokes fun at this sub genre in the right ways

Ridiculous and funny, this young adult action "romance" is perfect for fans of zany humor and The Mummy. Sofia is just an average not so popular high schooler. She has one good friend and an overzealous dad, life is just peachy keen. That is, until she meets Seth, the school's newest hipster. He's skinny, gaunt, and covered in bandages, Sofia's heart is in overdrive. The two find themselves working together on a class project and the world will never be the same. Literally, they may have to save it. Also, Seth is a mummy. Can you kiss a mummy? Can you do "other things" to a mummy? These are burning questions that Sofia has. Over the top and fun. Not your average teen romcom.

i was reading this ironically bc i couldn’t take it seriously. but even for ironic read it was bad. fmc was so annoying. i liked her dad and best friend the best.

This book was SO annoying and hilarious at the same time. Mainly because, well it makes fun of all the YA monster books out there, it's cringey as hell.

Unwrap my Heart

Ok, is it really worth 5 stars? Probably not. But this is a hilarious satire, and I oddly want more.
