Interesting. He had his flaws, but I still love the music and his poetry.

7/10 stars. An interesting look into the rise and fall of a rock star. Unfortunately not much info on his death. One thing is certain though, Morrison was definitely unstable.

This was a pretty good biography of Jim Morrison, lead singer of The Doors. I bought this book because I liked the film. It was interesting to learn about this person, and I thought the book was pretty informative.

I started reading this book after my father got me hooked on The Doors and I found it very informative and entertaining. It's been a long time since I read it, so I can't get too specific about anything without giving it another read. I'm definitely giving it another read.

As amazing as the music and history is surrounding The Doors, I am so thankful I never knew Jim. He is a fascinating person who could be shy and empathetic, an artistic poet that could transcend boundaries with his music, but incredibly violent, abusive and terrifying. I highly suggest this book to anyone interested in the history of The Doors, especially if people want to watch that awful Oliver Stone film that is only entertainment, not fact.

"The Doors. Postoji ono poznato. I ono nepoznato. A ono što ih dijeli, to su vrata, i to želim biti. Želim biti vrataaaa."
