As the book was in the mystery/thriller category, I thought it would have more action or movements within the characters. However, I was left with a very monotone story. From the beginning, we knew who the serial killer was. Even with serial killers, there is some type of motive or urges, with Tom, there were none. Every single character was bland. I wanted to like the story, but even the ending was a letdown.

Thank you to Avon Books UK and NetGalley for letting me read this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Slower paced than I normally like, but really enjoyed the twists and ending

Hmm, I could tell that this was a debut. The pacing was a bit off. Some of the twisty things didn´t make complete sense to me, but I was okay with them. However, it felt... shallow? I thought I would like the use of the first person throughout the story, but it ultimately made things stale. I did read it fast, though.
