this is a great slow burn rivals to lovers! i loved layla in the first book and she continued to be relatable and awesome throughout this one. adrian was there for her when she needed him and they were such a good match. i really liked this series overall!

Layla was so dense sometimes but the story was entertaining! I’m thankful that even though the mc’s are both musicians I didn’t have to read a lot of lyrics. I liked “Meet Me Halfway” better but this was just as addictive of a read.
