I have the same complaints with this one as I did with the first one. Too short. But the difference is that with Rayce, I feel like it stopped just as it was beginning. With Enrick, I felt like I was coming in at the end.
BDSM isn't really my thing, but I overlooked that for the overall story and I liked it. Though not as much as the first. I would've like to read more background on Kai and wanted Enrick went to Kai's pack instead. I wouldn't be able to give up my life so be a permanent sub to someone who didn't want to be Dom to only me and have me lying in wait for when he wanted me. Even in a BDSM relationship, I think there should be respect on both sides and I want a mutual love between both characters and I didn't feel both. But if that's what Kai wanted, so be it. I like kink as much as the next person, but I'll admit I'm not well-versed in BDSM culture.
I hope with Petar and Sorth, we see more of a balance with regards to their mates. The Matik brothers are all dominant, but it'd be interesting to see these two have mates that won't take their machismo lying down.
