I actually really enjoyed this book, it was like most Nicholas sparks books yet a little different. I laughed I cried I was angry, and in the end I wish it could have not ended the way it did but at the same time it ended very well
medium-paced
Definitely the most disappointing Sparks novel. The entire book is a cliche. Dawson's character, in retrospect, is pathetic. Amanda talks in such an unrealistic way, literally nobody speaks like that. While reading the novel, I couldn't feel anything. Sparks TOLD us what we were supposed to be feeling, instead of describing it in such a way that we can feel the emotion ourselves. The only redeeming quality of the book could have been Dawson and Amanda ending up together, but of course he had to ruin that as well and make it the most predictable, unfulfilling ending ever. Seriously a waste of $15.

The most depressing of his novels I've read (so far). I mean gee whiz, can anything go right for the main character?
great book. not the typical ending you expect from NS. but it was still good.
