Bought this some time ago, for such a short story I think it should have been free as an add-on to one of the novels of the series or free as a teaser.
Good background addition, I read it then the character pops up in the first Expanse Book [b:Leviathan Wakes|8855321|Leviathan Wakes (Expanse, #1)|James S.A. Corey|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1411013134s/8855321.jpg|13730452], which helps to understand the character and the story better.
