This book is a phenomenal read and visually glorious.
I will be using this with kids and adults alike and I love the intersectionality of all the terms and lessons within it. I love the referencing of different sections of the book in previous or later sections and how they’re all interconnected.
A lot of stuff I already know, but learned new ways to talk about it, and learned some new concepts too. Stellar.

I bought this book for my teenagers, but I started reading it last night and was hooked. It doesn’t start with body parts but with the concepts of respect and trust and power and joy. Amazing. I nearly cried, to be honest. So much love and thoughtfulness has gone into this book, and it shows. I wish I’d had this book or something like it when I was a kid. Can I give it six stars??
Very good & encompasses a lot! Only complaint is that it is not super accessible for kids with vision loss (which is fine as it’s a comic, but I’d love to see more blind representation esp as it includes deaf representation! And the font is small, so it + the variety of colors is a lot for someone who is low vision). i love the reflection questions and activities. it is long but can easily be split up into chunks
Soooo dense (and visually maximalist)! I’ll come back to this one sometime in future.
20/5. Love the format, illustrations, and content! This book goes welllll beyond just teaching kids about sex and bodies.

this is the sex ed i wish i'd had as a kid! informative, straightforward, nonjudgmental, and appropriate for kids without glossing over the important stuff.
Minor: Child abuse, Sexual assault
I’ve been a sex educator for many years and this person Cory Silverberg is an absolute human gem that wrote an absolute and total book gem. I have used this book to guide both my middle and high school sex and health education classes and out of all of the books for young people out there, especially for teenagers, this one checks off the most boxes. Intersectional, comprehensive, holistic, sweet, tender and deeply educational for ALL ages.
