Just not what I expected I suppose. It was very specifically about a handful of child stars. I thought it’d be more about the business side of things, though it did cover that a bit. It also didn’t really talk about any of the cartoon shows I loved and watched significantly more than all but Lizzie McGuire.

Such a captivating nonfiction book about the rise of the Disney Channel that I knew in the 2000s. Loved learning about the behind the scenes of some of my biggest childhood obsessions.

This book was pretty good, I liked the beginning better than the end. The second half seemed more focused on the stars and their trajectory rather than Disney shows themselves. Learned a few things but otherwise somewhat dull.
