I really enjoyed this audio book, and Lalaine did a great job with the narration. I stopped watching the Disney Channel somewhere in the midst of seasons of "That's so Raven" (I aged out). I thought I would loose interest in the book after the shows I watched were talked about, but I continued to find the material engaging and concise. I was even curious enough to watch an episode of Hannah Montana and The Wizards of Waverly Place, but I quickly realized I am just too old to enjoy it. I watched an episode of "Lizzie McGuire" and I can't decide if it's actually better than the aforementioned shows or if it is mostly the allure of nostalgia.

if you know, you know

Worth it for the nostalgia!

This book was absolutely fascinating! I loved getting a deep dive on the Disney Channel and all of my favorite shows and movies growing up. It actually wasn’t as dark as I was thinking, but it did become that way towards the end. This is a must read for anyone who was a Disney Channel kid growing up! I would highly suggest listening to it as LaLaine (Miranda on Lizzie McGuire) reads it.
