Largely over written, and not a lot of new reporting is done. Some subjects are written to death and some are barely touched

I liked learning about all of the executives involved in shaping the 2000s Disney Channel business model, but if that’s not interesting to you, then maybe skip the book?? I learned a lot and have many fun facts to share now. Sometimes I felt like I was reading Disney Channel propaganda, especially when they talked about the work environments being vastly superior to Nickelodeon’s. But there was just enough content critiquing Disney that it’s not so clear-cut.
The ending was also kind of abrupt, and there isn’t a compelling overall point. I still enjoyed the reading experience.

If you loved the golden age of Disney Channel, you will love this book. I learned so much of what was going on behind the scenes at Disney Channel in the late 90’s through the 00’s (and early 2010’s).

the earlier chapters were more interesting, the miley/selena/jobros stuff was all over the internet at the time so there wasn't much new tea. lalaine narrating was a nice touch.
