Quit halfway through. A bunch of anecdotal stories that have very little in common. Author constantly tries to take quotes from people in one town and use it as scientific evidence that his viewpoint is obviously true.

I had read this many years ago in paperback - it was a good re-read
This book is great for creating the time to think about the slowness topic. That being said it’s pretty much fun facts about slowing down so I dont feel like I learned a lot of new information.
This was decent. Some books about slowing down in life talk more about principles. This one had lots of specific examples, but they were from 20 years ago and were outdated.
Short review: This is a bit repetitive, but it is sharing a good message that slow is not bad and often slow is better than fast. Many of the antidotes were interesting and well written, but often the point was so similar to the previous that it did not add much to the book. Overall it would make a very good book if it were 100 pages shorter.
