The narrative is a classic teenage coming of age story and I thoroughly enjoyed the execution by Simon James Green.
The cringe elements made Freddie more relatable as a narrator and I couldn’t help finding myself laughing along with him and rooting for his win.
This book really had the perfect ending, there’s nothing I would change. The development and relationships came full circle, I really hope we see more from these characters.
