hollyyyy cracklessss. i loved this book soooooo much. Penelope Douglas you’ve done it again and I love you.

i don’t know what else to write. i just finished the book and it’s 5 am so my brain is not properly functioning at the moment. maybe i’ll write more later but just know that this book is amazing!!!

The romance was steamy as always, Douglas is an expert at the taboo for sure. However, I couldn’t get passed this dude being a deadbeat dad and at no point during his “redemption arc” was I convinced that he was a good dad or good man for that matter. I couldn’t even find him sexy because that was so hard to look past. Also the wild twist at the end felt kinda lackluster, like a last minute thrown in thing. Not my favorite by her but clearly good enough that I finished it🤷🏼‍♀️
